The ‘Create apps in Dubai’ initiative aims to support the UAE nationals in mastering the fundamentals of coding, building mobile applications proficiently and exploring innovative business models for implementation in Dubai.
This initiative offers comprehensive training and development services to assist the participants create brand-new mobile applications for their businesses or for any ideas and solutions.
Overseen by Dubai Chamber for Digital Economy, the initiative seeks to train 1,000 UAE nationals in partnership with the private sector in Dubai. It will identify priority areas and support development plans to empower and enable these UAE nationals to play key roles in realising the UAE’s digital vision. Additionally, it seeks to triple the number of app creators by 2025 and support 100 new national projects for the development of cutting-edge apps.
The Emirati Training Academy is a key pillar of ‘Create Apps in Dubai’ aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills required to build a successful career in mobile application development. The programme is available exclusively to UAE nationals of all ages and from all the seven emirates.
