SMBR Global Aviation Award
‘Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Aviation Award' aims to recognise and promote efforts that contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the aviation industry worldwide. Awarded triennially, with a monetary prize of USD 1 million, it honours the contributions of the states, business organisations and individuals that make the aviation safer, liberal and innovative by developing knowledge, helping others or exerting personal influence for the good of the industry. The award also reflects the UAE’s commitment to support the initiative of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), ‘No Country Left Behind’.

Sponsored by General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), ‘Aeronnovation’ is a national award that aims to recognise and provide an opportunity for everyone in the UAE to showcase designed and implemented innovations that can impact the aviation industry positively. The award looks for emerging technologies that can reshape future travel experience and enhance operational safety and efficiency on the flight and on the ground.
